Thevenet's 2020 Regnie "En Voiture Simone...â comes from 50-60 year old vines and is a gorgeous expression of Regnie's telltale fleshy, fruity balance that makes Gamay so compelling. In the hands of a less talented winemaker this fruit might fall flat, but in the hands of Charly Thevenet (Jean-Paul's son, and current shepherd of the estate) this is a world-class expression of this top Cru.
Outstanding from start to finish, and a mind-blowing value!!
