Pomontino is a 80/20 blend of Sangiovese and Sagrantino. The Sangiovese provides bright fruit and acidity while the touch of Sagrantino brings dark color and a grippy finish. This is a remarkably well-balanced wine that is ready to drink immediately but will also last a handful of years in the cellar.
