"The 2015 'Pelos' Sangiovese is a wonderful showing. It instantly opens inviting aromatics of fresh dark cherries and red plums woven together with spices, herbs, fresh cut florals and underlying hints of leather all emerging from the glass. On the palate this is medium-plus bodied and well-structured with firm, yet nicely polished tannins and lovely acidity keeping it fresh and inviting. It continues to impress with its excellent overall balance as it heads into the long finish. While this is already quite appealing in its youth, it should also continue to drink beautifully over the course of the next five years." |

This is a 100% Sangiovese sourced from of their best vines. Made in a small production and with a concentration on a balance of fruit, earth, and body. Medium body, with notes of deep cherry, plum and earth all come together.
This can age well for the next 3-5 years, but drinking great right now.
