The 2019 Castelli di Grevepesa 'Strade di Toscana' is a lovely showing. It offers pretty bright red fruits and sweet red berries which are woven together with spices, florals, leather, herbs and hints of tobacco. This possesses a gorgeous medium body and a nicely polished texture with lots of energy and poise through the finish. This shows a wonderful sense of freshness when served at cellar temperature, and is drinking beautifully at this early stage.

This insanely affordable Super Tuscan is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. We're not sure there is a better bottle to have around the house for a night where you order in, a trip to your local BYOB, or even to celebrate with!

This easy-drinking, full-bodied Italian red is well-structured and complex with a long, smooth finish. Those of you buying other bottles of Chianti or Sangiovese, in general, will want to take a long look here.

Our wine team tasted this at a casual Italian BYOB as we tasted through a variety of new wines to bring into the shop. Out of the 20+ wines we tasted, 6 were selected and THIS was the top choice based on how much value it delivers on!
