From a family estate based in Lignorelles, in the western hills of Chablis, this wine ferments and ages mostly in small tanks, with a portion in three-year-old barrels. The vintage flirts with superripe peach flavors, but it has elegance and restraint, a bold, multidimensional wine that stands straight and tall. Chris Hallowell of Terroir Wines described it as thrilling, and commented, "You get as much in the exhale as on the inhale." It's integrated and immediately accessible, a wine to serve with a lobster salad.
