A much more powerful, voluptuous expression of Syrah emerges from the 2012 Syrah Estate, where intense, dark Paso fruit is center stage. The 2012 Syrah Estate is gorgeous, ample and resonant in the glass. Most importantly, it is completely different from the Dirt Worshipper, with more body but less emphasis on aromatics. The 2012 was done mostly with destemmed fruit and about 15% whole clusters. |
