"The 2009 Spiga is again, pure Tinta del Pais fermented in oak and stainless steel and raised for 12 months in 90% French and 10% European barrels. It is endowed with a powerful, burly bouquet with forward cranberry, raspberry and pomegranate notes that are very well-defined. The palate is full-bodied and a little unruly on the entry. The tannins and thick and gripping at first, although they are singing from the same hymn sheet as the fruit and the finish has a sense of linearity and focus. Excellent. Drink 2013-2020. " |
