"Aromas of woodland berry, baking spice, orange zest, crushed rose and a whiff of balsam come together in the glass. It's savory and elegant, with tightly wound, fine-grained tannins that support ripe wild cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, mineral and menthol."

Description:

"The base grape of Etna Rosso is Nerello Mascalese, the predominant native variety in the mountain vineyards, where it is harvested around the middle of October. It yields wines with notes that differ depending on the slope and the altitude at which it is grown. These wines display excellent structure and elegant aromas that develop further with aging. The base grape is blended with a small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio, another typical Etna variety, which gives the wine a richer hue, compensating for the poor color of Nerello Mascalese. The soil is volcanic, very rich in minerals, at an altitude of approximately 2,130-2,460 feet, with good range of temperature between day and night." - Winery
