This old-vine white comes from a seaside village in Spain's far northwest corner, not far from the coast. Offering up zesty citrus, apricot and yellow peach on the nose, the wine betrays its origin with sea-like salinity, as carried by an ocean breeze. The flavors follow the aromas, with minerality and salinity becoming more dominant on the palate and the fruit expanding on the back of the palate. The sea influence never leaves, integrating beautifully with the fruit and lasting for an impressively long finish. Even tasted at cellar temperature, this wine offers refreshment and refinement, lively acidity, and pleasant weight on the palate. A lovely match for relaxing afternoons and with seafood dinners, think lighter fish and shellfish with green herbs and citrus.

The family behind the bottle has been producing wines for their own consumption and for beachgoing passersby for quite some time. However, it has only been within the last decade that they began exporting. Despite their growth, the family holds true to tradition, employing organic growing methods and harvesting their estate grapes by hand.
