Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

90 Pts Brandon Warnke - Wine Library

"I flat out loved this. Buy it by the case and keep on hand for quick pasta dishes or for the next time the pizza is delivered to your door. Medium bodied with good fruit concentration and a long finish. It's very hard to find Sangiovese of this quality for under $20. This delivers over and over again"

Description:

"Santa Teresa, created in 2000 by Marco Querci and his wife Marta Matteini Querci, is located in the heart of Tuscany, 150 meters above sea level in Monteregio DOC, at the southern end of the Metalliferous Hills. Thanks to its proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea, the area enjoys a mild climate and naturally fertile soils. This is a newly established DOC (1994), with centuries-old traditions of viticulture. Two different vineyards cover an area of 7 hectares with plant densities of 6,000 vines. The facing south vineyard, consists of Sangiovese and Alicante, planted in 2000. The production started in 2004. The facing south-west vineyard, consists of 80% of 15-years-old Sangiovese grapes, plus Cabernet, Ciliegiolo and Vermentino. The well-structured, clayey-calcareous soll here produces less than 7 tons per hectare of grapes for red wine and less than 10 tons per hectare of grapes for white wine. Under the guidance of enologist Attilio Pagli, the family planted their vineyards and constructed their cellar, which was built in 2003. Engaging the local farmers who have always lived and worked on this land, Marco and Marta also invited the vineyard's former owners to join the group that remains the true force behind Santa Teresa today." -Importer
