Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"Layers of red fruits with ruby stone, pine tree and balsamic on the nose. Fresh but round tannins with sufficient character of wild cherry and berries. Long, elegant finish. This is like an outstanding Brunello. Drink now, or better on 2016." (10/14) |
92 Pts Wine Enthusiast |
"This juicy, savory Rosso opens with a pretty fragrance of crushed violets, perfumed berries and sweet cake spices. The ripe, delicious palate doles out concentrated wild cherry, black raspberry and cinnamon-spice alongside supple tannins and fresh acidity. Bright orange fruit sensations signal the close. -KO" (11/14) |
Description:
There are very few Rosso offerings that will be able to compete with this so buying by the case is recommended!
Brunello buyers will want to pay close attention here! This brilliant Rosso is just about as close to a Brunello as you will come in this price point. The comparisons can be seen in the review posted by James Suckling and after tasting it for yourself - you will see why!!
"The Uccelliera estate, located in the warm southern Castelnuovo dell'Abate part of the Montalcino zone, was part of the neighboring Ciacci Piccolomini estate until 1986. Proprietor Andrea Cortonesi recently added two hectares adjacent to Ciacciâs famous "Pianrosso" vineyard; the property now totals six hectares. All work in the vineyard is done by hand. The Rosso is highly limited in production, featuring an unusually powerful nose, and lush, soft fruit, while the Brunello features complex aromas of exotic spice and dark red fruits with an expansive palate and velvety texture. The tiny-production âRapaceâ is a 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet barrique-aged blend.
Uccelliera is a practicing organic winery. Integrated insect and disease control is followed; organic and organic-mineral fertilizers (copper and sulfur-based products) are used in the vineyards. Insecticides and herbiscides are used rarely, if ever. The soil is tilled on the rows between the vines. To preserve the wine, low doses of SO2 are added to the wines.
The Uccelliera Rosso is filled with aromas of crunchy dark cherries and black currants, compounded by smoky and tobacco notes. Pure and unctuous in the mouth with loads of fruit and glycerin. Finishes with balance and ripe tannins. " - Importer
