You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2011 Costieres de Nimes Nostre Pais is even better. Made from an intriguing combination of 30% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 15% Mourvedre, 15% Cinsault and a handful of other varietals, it offers up an opaque ruby/purple color as well as a sweet perfume of spring flowers, blue and black fruits, exotic Asian spices, earth and incense. This pure, fruit-driven, beautifully textured, complex effort should drink well for 5-6 years."

"The various cuvees produced by Michel Gassier and his American wife at Chateau de Nages are quickly becoming the reference point wines for Costieres de Nimes. Gassier practices biodynamic viticulture at this seriously run estate, and has the assistance of the brilliant oenologist, Philippe Cambie. The quality of the wines is remarkable, particularly at these price points. They have access to over 175 acres of vineyards which they exploit in a dramatically impressive fashion. Gassier's 2011s may be as strong as his 2010s. Michel Gassier also demonstrates a brilliant touch with white wines." (10/12)

Description:

WINE:
"Convinced of the exceptionality of their Rhone Valley appellation, Michel Gassier and his wife Tina have acquired parcels for the uniqueness of their terroir. Privileging vineyards that hold an expression of freshness, farming them organically, and with a minimalist approach in the winery, they create wines that are an intimate, original expression of their soils and varietals. Bottled under the name Michel Gassier, these vineyards produce wines of balance, freshness and minerality." -Importer

"'This new cuvee represents our search for elegance, purity, and mineral/terroir expression. In order to privilege the complexity of our terroir, grape ripeness is not pushed to the outer limits, sorting is drastic, oak aging is kept to a minimum, and blending includes all 5 varieties of the appellation. Our winemaking style is as non interventionist as possible.'" -Michel Gassier, Winemaker
