Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

97 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2005 Malleolus de Valderramiro is a dense opaque purple color. It has a roasted character along with Asian spices, incense, and a cocktail of black fruits. Powerful on the palate, this is a packed effort with loads of fruit and tannin that will require a minimum of 8-10 years to become approachable."

"Emilio Moro's Malleolus de Valderramiro is sourced from an 85-year-old Tempranillo vineyard of the same name. Alcoholic fermentation is done with native yeasts after which the wine goes through malolactic in American oak. It is then aged for 18 months in new French oak." (06/10)

94 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Glass-staining ruby. High-pitched red and dark berry aromas are brightened by exotic Asian spices and minerals. Powerful raspberry and blackberry flavors are sweetened by coconut, vanilla and mocha but there's a buffering bitter licorice quality. Supple tannins build on the long, pliant finish, which leaves a cherry-cola flavor behind. Very sexy wine." (10/07)

93 Pts Wine Spectator

"Ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit flavors are syrupy and almost jammy, but retain enough acidity for balance in this plush, modern red. The big tannins are ripe and well-integrated, and spicy, mocha-tinged oak frames the fruit. Drink now through 2016. 100 cases made. -TM" (11/07)

91 Pts Wine & Spirits

"The clay soils of this historic Emilio Moro pago grow broad, ripe and expansive wines, full of lush ripeness. In this latest release, the aromas and flavors of chocolate and fig battle for prominence. Its sweetness would go well with game." (10/08)

Description:

WINE:
"Intense ripe cherry-red colour, with dark tones at the heart. The nose is opulent and intense, dominated by black fruits and a marked minerality, accompanied by toasted aromas of fine oak. A great complexity of spicy and sweet nuances. On the palette it is a powerful ensemble, persistent with a silky tannin that envelopes the palette. The finish is long and persistent, and lingers on the palate." -Winery

WINERY:
"Our winery is the place where the values of the Moro family take shape. A space where traditional methods and the latest technology go hand in hand to obtain the best possible results. Legacy of manual ploughing, harvesting by hand and barbeque ribs with roast potatoes, the winery is today a seat of memories and a commitment towards progress: technology at the service of quality. In Bodegas Emilio Moro you can experience for yourself the different aromas of each stay, the landscape of its vineyards, the stacked barrels and the sound of incessant activity. We invite you to feel at home." -Winery
