You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"Good medium red. Carnal aromas of crushed cherry and raspberry. Silky and aromatic in the mouth, but with plenty of structure and juicy lift to the superripe, nearly decadent red fruit flavors. Finishes very long, with excellent supporting structure for such a supple, fruit-driven wine. A real sentimental favorite on my trip." (10/11) |
93 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com |
"This is a soft and generous red with plum, orange peel character. It's full and very round on the palate. Tar and spice. So attractive now but best after 2014." (05/11) |

"If you love the biggest and boldest of Barolos, this beautiful wine is for you. It puts forth power and determination with confidence thanks to its aromas of barbecue spice, mesquite, roasted espresso bean, vanilla and ripe red cherry. Give it five more years. - ML" (09/11) |
93 Pts Wine Spectator |
"Floral and berry aromas and flavors are appealing, with a sweet fruit core midpalate, but this is also slightly herbal, with firm tannins and a lean, tightly wound finish. A more ethereal style Best from 2014 through 2028. -BS" (03/12) |
93 Pts Antonio Galloni - Vinous |
"2015-2027. The 2007 Barolo Parafada is more of a muscular, fruit-driven wine than most of the estate's other Baroli. There is less in the way of aromatic expressiveness and a more over sense of body and richness on the palate. Layers of deep, muscular fruit flow effortlessly to the round, sensual and totally striking finish. The 2007 is the first Parafada to be aged entirely in cask since the late 1980s, which is finally allowing the vineyard's qualities to emerge with great clarity. This parcel, with vines that are now more than 60 years old, was purchased by Franco Massolino's father when he was just 16 years old - not old enough to legally sign the contract, but clearly wiser beyod his years." "Youthful in its suppressed aromas, this shows mostly oak for now, that wood submerged in firm, succulent, anise-scented fruit and an earthy mushroom character. This is at least five years from peak drinking." (12/11) |
Description:
Wine:
"Deep garnet red with bright hues which naturally evolve with age. The bouquet is intense, very complex, offering a wide range of notes; with remarkable red fruit combined with floral and spicy hints. Especially after a few years of ageing, this Barolo shows all the elegance and charm that only Nebbiolo grapes can offer. Robust, rich and austere. It perfectly reflects the great complexity of the soil in Serralunga d'Alba. The perfect Barolo for long ageing. It is best to decant and serve it at temperatures between 18-20 degrees C."
"The elegant companion for important rice and pasta dishes, such as risotto cooked in Barolo, and rich and tasty main courses, such as roast meats. After a few years of ageing, this Barolo expresses its considerable potential just as well when sipped as a wine for thought and served with hard and medium-hard cheeses." - Winery
