Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $19.99. There are 3 other stores that sell this wine from $19.95 to $22.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.
Free shipping on orders of 3 bottles or more!

"This wine's complex fragrance layers scents of earth and black raspberries, a savory wild fruit character that runs straight through to the end. The structure frames the flavors with gentle spice that tightens around the wine and lasts. A compelling pinot noir, this will capture the attention of grilled quail or other game birds." (08/12) |
Description:
Wine:
"This wine is named after its winemaker, Patricia Von Elzenbaum. It is ruby red in color with violet hues. It has a fruity nose and a full-bodied, velvet palate. It pairs well with most meat dishes." - Importer
Vinification and Aging:
"After destemming and gentle pressing, the grapes are taken to steel fermenting vats (100 hl), complete with pumpover system. Maceration on the skins lasts 10 to 15 days. After fermentation (100% malolactic) the wine is aged for 15 months in French barriques and large oak casks. It then rests for another 3 months before being placed in the market." - Importer
Producer:
"The Cantina Girlan was founded in 1923 by 23 vintners at this historic 16th century country estate. The 23 charter members had an annual production of a mere 2,700 hectoliters of wine."
"The Cantina Girlan now has 200 winegrower members, for a total of 220 hectares of vineyards in the best growing zones of the Oltradige and Bassa Atesina.Girlan - first mentioned in historical documents dating back to A.D.1085 - has always been a famed wine-growing area. The vineyards are located at altitudes from 250 to 550 m above sea level, in soil types that form an ideal environment for growing numerous native and international varietals. In addition to the location, the vintner is also a very important factor. Winemaker, Gerhard Kofler, maintains a close and personal relationship with the growers. The exchange of information and experience is the cornerstone of their continuous efforts to produce quality wines." - Importer
