One of the top wines of the vintage, it has an incredible bouquet of blackberry liqueur, licorice, assorted flowers, and roasted meats that gives way to a full-bodied, massively built palate that has nothing out of place, a seamless texture, beautiful freshness, and masses of polished tannin emerging on the finish. Taking the better part of a day to open up and even better on day two, this knockout Chateauneuf-du-Pape needs 4-5 years of bottle age, and will totally thrill for 15+ years or more.
