Product Details:
Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Free shipping on all orders of 12 bottles or more!

"This lean, angular Barolo is tightly wound, with cherry, tobacco and underbrush notes. Though firmly tannic, this is balanced and long, in a chewy, sinewy style. Best from 2015 through 2030. 3,000 cases made. -BS" (04/12) |
Description:
WINE:
"Brilliant garnet-red color, with warmer tinges developing over time. Unmistakeable bouquet, very pleasant, intense yet ethereal, very persistent, at times spiced, with aromas of truffles, liquorice and dried flowers. Dry taste, with important, full tannins. " -Winery
VINIFICATION:
"Rigorous manual selection of grapes in the vineyard. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 28-29ðC, followed by malolactic fermentation. The grapes from the two vineyards are kept separate throughout the process."
"The two wines are aged separately in 40-hectoliter French oak barrels (90%) and 225-liter barrels (10%) for 30 months. The wines are blended in the spring, then bottled at the end of the summer and aged in the bottle for another 6 months before release on the market." -Winemaker
ESTATE:
"It is hard to say for sure exactly when our winemaking began. 18th century muncipal records show that the vineyards and estate have belonged to the Oddero family for centuries. Documents, notarial deeds and pictures can take us back as far as our ancestors Lorenzo and Giovanni Battista, who between the 18th and 19th centuries started making wine from the grapes of our vineyards located around La Morra, a picturesque hill-town with views out over the whole Alta Langa."
"It is thanks to them that Oddero wine got its start in life, first sold in small casks and demijohns, then from 1878 in bottles. After 150 years of activity, the historical winery is run today by sisters Mariacristina and Mariavittoria, who are passionate about wine. They took over from their father Giacomo and are assisted by their children, whose youth gives freshness and innovation to the wisdom of tradition." -Winery
