Description:
"It was born from the precious Nero d'Avola Sicilian vine, only from manually harvested grapes. After passing 12 months in barrels, it is ready to match superbly with roasted red meat and long seasoned cheese. Its spicy scent displays strong red hints and soft vanilla nuances, with an extraordinary round, full taste." -Winery
WINE:
"The vineyards are located in the hilly vineyards in Riesi, Butera, Mazzarino. There is a manual harvest of well-ripened grapes in the second week of September. The wine undergoes long, temperature-controlled maceration with pomace. This Nero d'Avola is aged for 12 months in small oak barrels." "Intense red ruby color. This Nero d'Avola is fruity with pleasant spicy notes, typical of the grape variety, blending well with toasted almond and vanilla hints. The wine is soft and well-balanced. Pair with meat, mushroom, and seasoned cheese dishes." -Winery
WINERY:
"It is from the secrets and the passion for the vine that the Antichi Vinai wines were born. The Gangemi family has been devoting itself for four generations to vine-growing and to the improvement of the native Sicilian species of vine, above all those from volcano Etna. In one hundred yearsâ work, among Etna slope vineyards and in the ageing wine cellars, experience has blended with passion, and technology with experience to provide Sicilian wine estimators with superb truths to taste." -Winery
