You will get a confirmation from us when your order is confirmed.
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Description:
2007 VILLARD COTE ROTIE GALLET BLANC:
"Juicy, with a violet note up front, followed by a mix of red and black cherry and blackberry fruit, backed by tangy blood orange and anise notes on the briary finish. Drink now through 2017. 1,141 cases made. -JM" 91 points Wine Spectator
"Deep crimson. Exceptionally sweet and relatively oaky. On the palate there is good, fairly luscious, even if relatively lightweight, fruit. A sort of baby Guigal Brune et Blonde. Drink 2014 to 2020. (JR)" 16.5+ out of 20 points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages
WINE:
"This wine is issued from vineyards situated in Ampuis , in the places called 'Cote Bodin', 'Le Grand Taillis', and 'Fontjean'. The vineyards are 30 years old; Partial scratching, vatting during 3 weeks in open tanks. Maturing in barrels (18 to 23 months) including 50% new barrels. Bottling without filtration." -Importer
WINERY:
"Known as a Condrieu 'master', Francois has grown his tiny domaine from 4 to 7 hectares and still produces a miniscule amount of highly allocated bottlings. Referred to by Robert Parker as one of the 'stars' of the Northern Rhone, Francois has recently acquired a small parcel in Cote-Rotie and a few ares in St. Joseph. Formerly a chef, Francois brings his complex palette to the winery to produce wines of power and grace that age for years. Francois Villard's strategy is to allow for the most optimal ripening possible. His wines, as a result, are rich and concentrated with complex aromas of peaches, apricots, honeysuckle, and honey for the whites and leather and spice for the reds. The whites are often allowed to develop botrytis and most of the wines pass through wood ageing for an extended amount of time to prepare them for a very long life in bottle." -Importer
2000 GUIGAL HERMITAGE BLANC:
"Beautiful. Rich and thick, but clean and balanced. Medium-bodied, it offers honey, spice, pie dough, beeswax, corn biscuit and smoke aromas and flavors. The toasted wood is beginning to integrate and the long finish is lively from fresh acidity. Better than previously reviewed. Drink now through 2015. 2,080 cases made. -PM" 92 points Wine Spectator
"The 2000 Hermitage blanc is one of the finest examples I have tasted from Guigal. It boasts notes of orange marmalade intermixed with honeysuckle, minerals, and roasted nuts as well as a long, textured, full-bodied finish. This big, broad effort is more accessible than the 1999 (due to lower acidity and riper fruit), but should also be long-lived. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2016." "Guigal's white Hermitage should be even better now that he has acquired additional top parcels, particularly those purchased from Jean-Louis Grippat, which included holdings in two of the appellationâs finest vineyards, Les Rocoules and Les Murets." 90-93 points Robert Parker
"Aromas of orange blossom, almond, marzipan and dried flowers. Enticing flavors of orange blossom and nuts, with very ripe notes of apricot and pineapple. Rounded out nicely with aeration, showing a more tropical character. Finishes tactile, firm and long." 90 points - Stephen Tanzer - International Wine Cellar
WINE:
"Marsanne 95%, Roussanne 5%. Consistent straw yellow.Complex nose with dominant floral vegetal notes and acacia honey. Elegant and delicate oak. Spicy with good structure. A wine for ageing. Overall balance and with deep complex aromas characteristic of these rare white wines."
"The soils are a mix of limestone clay and silt soil with sandy gravel. The average age of the vines are 40 years old. Temperature controlled alcoholic fermentation. 3 weeks maceration in vats. The wine is aged for 24 months in oak barrels." -Winery
