"A clean, pure style, with lots of stone fruit aromas and flavors backed by hints of almond, honeysuckle and mineral. Has a long, stony finish. Drink now through 2009. 1,300 cases made. -JM (Tasted 10/2008)" 91 points Wine Spectator

"The 2006 St.-Joseph blanc again demonstrates what a top-flight vintage this is for northern Rhone white wines. Textured and rich, with loads of white peach, quince, and powdered stone characteristics, this full, fresh, rich, gorgeous white can be consumed over the next 3-4 years. Drink: 2009 - 2013. (Tasted 4/2009)" 90 points - Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

"Yellow-gold. Ripe pear, peach and truffle on the nose, with a smoky mineral undertone. Lush and creamy, with deep orchard fruit and tangerine flavors braced by gentle minerality. Picks up anise and apricot pit qualities on an impressively long, sappy finish. (Tasted 2/2008)" 90 points - Josh Raynolds - International Wine Cellar

"Nutty marzipan and ripe citrus, then a delicious breadth without fat on the palate. Firm, slightly grainy and a nice contrast of spiced fruit and savoury texture. (JH)" 16.5 out of 20 points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages

WINE:
"95% Marsanne, 5% Roussanne. The average age of the vines is 20 to 50 years. The vines are mainly situated in the communes of Tournon and Sarras in limestone and pebbly sand. Temperature controlled fermentation at around 18 degrees Celsius occurs in stainless steel and oak barrels."

"Brilliant clear straw yellow. Powerful and complex nose. Strong notes of white flowers. Delicate oak aromas. A clean supple attack. Very aromatic finish with pears and citrus fruits. Exceptionally fresh and fruity. Round and powerful on the palate." -Winery
