Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts International Wine Review

"The medium ruby 2007 Single Estate is a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Jaen. It is a lovely wine that boasts red and black fruit with notes of herbs and spices. It is soft and velvet smooth on the palate with excellent balance, firm and polished tannins and lingering flavors of dark fruit and bitter chocolate on the palate. A gorgeous wine and super value." 91 Points - International Wine Review

WINE:
"Garrida's blend of 50% Tinta Roriz and 50% Touriga Nacional is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. This wood treatment lends the wine a fuller body, but still allows its fruity character to show through."

"The Quinta da Garrida Vinho Tinto is dark red in color. On the nose, notes of licorice, plum and prune are followed by hints of smoke. This wine is appealing and sweet, well-balanced and attractive with a long finish in the mouth. Ideal with mushroom risotto with parmesan." -Importer

ESTATE:
"Located in the Dão wine region, in Vila Nova de Tazém, Gouveia, near Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain of Portugal, Garrida has been highly involved in the production of quality wines. The estate covers a total area of 300 acres, of which 255 acres are planted with traditional red varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Rufete, Tinta Roriz, and Alfroncheiro and traditional whites such as Encruzado, Bical and Arinto."

"The soils are predominantly slate and granite with a high proportion of sand and some clay, which allow the production of wine with very distinct characteristics: elegant with good acidity. Bounded by high mountains and protected by the Atlantic, this rich wine region benefits from the warm summers, cool nights, and abundant winter rainfall." -Importer

This wine was also scored 89 points by the Wine Spectator and 88 by the Wine Advocate.
