Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

93 Pts Wine Spectator

"Violet, cassis and blackberry flavors are pure and concentrated, with spice and mineral accents. It's silky, yet with plenty of tannins backing everything up. An elegant style, with finesse and a long finish. Best from 2012 through 2025. 916 cases made. -BS" 93 points Wine Spectator

WINE:
"The Clos des Boucherottes is a monopole and is 1.83 hectares. The name 'Boucherottes' is old Bourguignon slang for a hedge. The vineyard received this name as the site is in between Pommard and Beaune. It is also bordered by "Les Petits Epenots and Clos des Mouches."

"The color is dark ruby. On the nose, there are notes of cassis and cherries. The mouthfeel of this wine is long and round, with tannins on the finish. The wine should decanted for 2 hours before serving." -Winery; translated by KM

WINERY:
"The domaine came into the family's possession in 1793 with the marriage of Antoine Coste. This winery has been passed down through the generations through the women in the family. Currently, the Sordet family runs the winery. They have expanded their vineyard sites to a total of 32 hectares in 1892, found in the Pommard, Volnay, St.-Romain, and Givry appellations." -Winery; translated by KM

VINIFICATION:
"The grapes are all destemmed, followed by a meticulous sorting. The wine is vinified in either wooden or concrete vats with a 4-6 day maceration, followed by fermentation at 34 degrees Celsius maximum. Fermentation occurs over a 12-15 day period, with two punching downs and one pumping over a day. The wine is aged in barrels that are 10-15% new, which does not mask the terroir of these wines." -Winery; translated by KM

POMMARD:
"The word 'Pommard' comes from 'Pomone', the name for the goddess of fruits and gardens, whom the original inhabitants of the area venerated. In 1004, the village was called Polmareum. A few centuries later, the village was renamed Pomareum, derived from Latin, meaning 'orchard'." -Winery; translated by KM
