Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Erasmo is owned and operated by Count Francesco Marone Cinzano, who also owns Col d'Orcia, an excellent producer of Brunello di Montalcino in Tuscany. The 2004 Reserva de Caliboro is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. It was aged for 12 months in French oak and bottled unfiltered. It offers a fragrant perfume of cedar, vanilla, red currants, blackberry, and black currants. Elegantly styled, the wine is supple and forward but with a solid structure under the ripe flavors. It is already exhibiting good complexity and should evolve for several more years. It can be enjoyed through 2020. I also tasted the first three vintages of this wine (2001, 2002, and 2003) which were first-class. As the vines acquire some age, it seems likely that Erasmo will gain recognition as one of Chile's 'icon' wines." -91 points- Jay Miller- Wine Advocate

WINE:
"Dark ruby red, with black cherry tones. Complex and intense with presence of black berries, spices and soft notes of fine oak. Balanced and structured with velvety tannins and a lot of freshness contributed by the natural acidity. Intense, structured and persistent. Serve Erasmo with meat, meat pies, game or wild boar cooked on an open fire. Generally with full flavored main courses."

"With Erasmo 2004, the fourth version of this wine, the 6 year old vines planted in 1998 in the unique 'terroir' of Caliboro reach their balance and maturity. The team at the Reserva de Caliboro has improved its interpretation of the soil and climate elements that compose this dry farmed wine and controls the management of the vineyard and the harvest with passion and confidence. The potential of this combination of man with these plants in this territory declares itself. The gently sloping alluvial terraces on the banks of the Perquilauquen River, the careful blend of the best vine varieties especially imported from France, the high density of planting, the reduced and concentrated crops, the manual harvest and the estate vinification and bottling finally confirm the foretaste found in the earlier vintages. Erasmo is the fruit of the friendship and collaboration between Maurizio Castelli as consultant enologist and Francesco Marone Cinzano as producer." -Winery

VINEYARDS:
"This area was chosen because it allows dry farming and the intense luminosity ensures a greater content of antioxidants. The blend of vines (clonal selection) used to produce Erasmo were specially selected to match the climate and soil of Caliboro and were imported exclusively from France for the purpose." -Winery

This also scored 88 points from the Wine Enthusiast and 87 points from the Wine Spectator.
