91 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Deep, bright-rimmed ruby color. Very spicy aromas of pungent red and dark berries, dried violet, incense and botanical herbs. Round and sappy, with sweet cherry and blackcurrant flavors, juicy acidity and gentle tannic grip. This became more powerful with air, taking on subtle espresso and bitter chocolate character. Leaves ripe cherry and plum notes behind on the long, chewy finish. This needs time to unwind." -91 points- Josh Raynolds- International Wine Cellar

"The prime terroir that makes up the 'Northern Arc' of the Barossa Valley lends itself to the production of Cabernet Sauvignon- particularly the area around Greenoack where one finds red clay. Handpicked grapes are given the full triage treatment and rotation pumped during fermentation before being aged in French and American oak. Inky black, deep flavoured wine."

"Selected blocks of single-wire trellis vines from Greenock and the surrounding regions of Marananga and Stockwell in the Barossa Valley were blended for this wine. Viticultural techniques included minimal irrigation, low cropping and canopy management to maximise fruit maturation under optimum conditions. When judged flavour-ripe the grapes were handpicked into shallow trays." -Winery

"Deep purple colour with a slightly bluish hue. Fresh, spicy blackcurrants with a touch of minty liquorice contribute to this classic Cabernet nose. Firm, fruity tannins provide backbone, which is well fleshed out and long." -Importer

This also received 89 points from both the Wine Spectator and the Wine Advocate.
