91 Pts International Wine Report

The 2020 No Name Road Red Hills Lake Cabernet Sauvignon opens with fresh aromas of blackberreis and red currants which are woven together with spices, florals, graphite and tobacco nuances. On the palate this is medium-bodied, round and seamless with notable balance all the way through the finish. This is accessible now, and should continue to drink nicely over the course of the next 2-5 years.

Description:

Located in the northern Mayacamas Mountains, the Red Hills of Lake County frame the southwest edge of Clear Lake. Composed of dozens of volcanic hills ranging from 1,350 to over 3,700 feet above sea level. The vines are grown on volcanic soils and at higher altitudes making it perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varieties.

The 2020 No Name Road is stunning in the glass. Dark fruit flavors of blackberries and currants are followed by a touch of spice and a hint of an appetizing smokiness.
