92 Pts International Wine Report

The 2018 Molino di Sant'antimo 'Asso' Rosso begins with to aromatics of cherries and plums along with spices, licorice and sweet toasted nuances all coming together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this possesses a medium body with wonderful overall balance and a gorgeous texture leading up to the lingering finish. Appealing now, yet shows the potential to age beautifully.

Dusty ruby color. Aromas of cherry tart, roasted beets, dried rose, tapenade, and mushrooms with a slightly chewy, vibrant, dry medium body and a graceful, medium-length black tea, ink, and carob finish with crunchy tannins and moderate oak flavor. A chewy Italian red with wonderful savory notes. Winemakers Notes
