"The soft, peachy and aromatic 2017 Vigno has come a long way from some tannic examples in the past. It was harvested a little earlier and blended with 8% Syrah and 2% Chardonnay and matured in untoasted oak foudres. It's quite attractive, showy and expressive, with the elegance that Carignan or CariÃ±ena can sometimes bring and without any rusticity. It's a warm vintage, and the wine shows ripeness, true to the character of the year. An impressive result for the year. 8,800 bottles were filled in June 2019."

Chile is making some really exceptional wines, it is also known for making some of the best values as well. This is a wine that you can buy in that $25 mark, but drinks as if it was 2 to 3 times the price!
