94 Pts Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The soft, peachy and aromatic 2017 Vigno has come a long way from some tannic examples in the past. It was harvested a little earlier and blended with 8% Syrah and 2% Chardonnay and matured in untoasted oak foudres. It's quite attractive, showy and expressive, with the elegance that Carignan or Cariñena can sometimes bring and without any rusticity. It's a warm vintage, and the wine shows ripeness, true to the character of the year. An impressive result for the year. 8,800 bottles were filled in June 2019."

Description:

Chile is making some really exceptional wines, it is also known for making some of the best values as well. This is a wine that you can buy in that $25 mark, but drinks as if it was 2 to 3 times the price!
