90 Pts Wine Spectator

"Jammy and supple, with expressive cherry, bitter chocolate and pepper flavors that glide along the finish. Drink now through 2023. 1,000 cases made. — TF"

The Saini Zinfandel is a very small production wine. This small winery has been growing grapes in the Dry Creek Valley for nearly 90 years and their experience with wine shows. It is an extremely full bodied style with rich notes of cherry, chocolate and spice. If you want to open it now, let it breathe, or save it for a couple years.

"Layer after layer of bold berry fruit abound in the aromas which are followed by a juicy and rich blackberry and boysenberry on the palate. The tannins are soft and pretty and the finish is smooth with a tiny zip from the delicate acidity. This wine leaves you wanting another sip for sure." -Winery
