Tenuta Fanti is one of the most historic wineries in all of Montalcino. With hundreds of years within the same family, their traditions are rock solid, and the wines are as classic as they get. Owner Filippo Fanti has 40 years of winegrowing and producing experience, but it was the addition of his daughter Elisa Fanti that has taken the estate to the next level. They are now considered one of the top producers in the region.
2012 was a great vintage and has an ability to age quite a few years down the line. The wines are ripe with fruit, but have the classic elegance of Brunello. Fanti is on the fuller side of the spectrum when it comes to this style of wine.
