Sourced from the Lewis Vineyard, this excellent Chardonnay opens with a bouquet of crème brûlée, roasted pineapple, Golden Delicious apple and toasted hazelnuts. This leads to ripe flavors of vanilla cream, pineapple upside down cake, Pazzaz apple and brioche. This wine certainly impresses in a very warm vintage. (Best 2017-2025) - June, 2017 (OB) |

"This Chardonnay from our Lewis Estate Vineyard is fermented 50% in stainless steel tanks and 50% in French oak. Aromatically crisp and clean, it expresses pineapple and lychee with a hint of wet stone on the nose. Ripe tropical fruit complemented by a soft, creamy texture fills the mid-palate while refreshing acidity draws out a lengthy finish."
