The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a good value for Napa. A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon of and 25% Syrah, the color is a dense purple, the wine rich and concentrated with sweet tannin and loads of black fruits. It should drink well for at least a decade. |

This very wine also hails from the legendary 2013 vintage in Napa, a harvest season that Robert Parker himself exclaimed to be "the finest wines I have tasted in 37 years."
Even better, winemaker Gustavo Gonzalez started this very wine for Ideology. Gonzalez, famous for his impact as winemaker with Robert Mondavi, is perhaps best known for producing the 2001 Tenuta dellâOrnellaia Masseto, upon which Wine Spectator bestowed a perfect 100 point rating, calling it one of the greatest Tuscan reds ever!
This gets our vote for one of the smoothest, out of the bottle, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon efforts of the season.
