"Another delicious 2013 Rosso di Montalcino with shaved chocolate, dried cherry and strawberry. Medium body, fine tannins and a fruity finish. Drink now."
"The freshness and elegance of a young Sangiovese
A careful selection in the vineyard and cellar separates the grapes and wines that possess the characteristics for this wine: fruity, full bodied and pleasing to drink.
The Fanti Estate is located in the very heart of Tuscany, in the valley of Castelnuovo dell'Abate which lies in the south of Montalcino. The total extension of the family properties adds up to 300 hectares which surround the new and modern cellar that is partly buried into the hill to reduce the visual impact and safeguard the amazing natural scenario dominated by the more-then-thousand years old Sant'Antimo Abbey.
The estate is currently divided into: 50 hectares of vineyard, 100 hectares of olive grove, 100 hectares of crops and 50 hectares of woodland. The soil, relatively sandy and poor in organic substances, and the unique micro-climate make this area definitely suitable for growing vines and olive trees." - Winery
