"Outstanding juice, the 2012 Lirac (50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Cinsault and 5% each of Mourvedre and Carignan) exhibits lots of sweet black fruits, ground pepper and earth, medium-bodied richness and a classy, pure style on the palate. Itâs a terrific value and will have another 5-6 years of prime drinking.

Meaning "water" in Provencal, Chateau de Segries was purchased by Henri de Lanzac (who's the cousin of Christophe Delorme of Domaine de la Mordoree) in 1994. Today the estate covers over 100 acres, mostly of old vines, spread amoung Tavel, Cotes du Rhone and Lirac."
