"The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Phaedrus is a 550-case cuvee from a vineyard southwest of St. Helena situated at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. Made from a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, it was aged 20 months in 25% new French oak. It reveals a deep ruby/purple color, sweet red and blackcurrant fruit, a fresh, lively mouthfeel, moderate tannins and a lush style. This beauty will benefit from several years of cellaring, and should drink well for 10-15 years." October 2014
