About
Borgo M is a Friulian project that was initiated in 2003 through the combined efforts of the Fantinel family and Domaine Select Wine Estates. The estateâs driving philosophy is to defy the standards of quality and value of Friulian wine, producing wines that express variety, land, and tradition. All of the fruit comes from estate vineyards owned by the Fantinel family, the largest landholders of Pinot Grigio vineyards in Friuli.
Production takes place at the winery of Fantinel, where precision and care go into the entire process from harvest to winemaking. All of the vineyards are meticulously maintained, and harvest takes place at the optimum time to ensure full ripeness. The winemaking philosophy is to express the purest flavors of the varieties. There is no oak used, so there is a very clean, bright berry style that remains consistent through each vintage. Cool Climate

"Borgo M Merlot shows a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose it is bright with berry fuit and a slightly minty note. On the palate it is fresh, with great fruit flavors and a long finish."
