n the heart of Burgundy, Beaujolais and near the house that is situated the Tramier L. et Fils. Louis Tramier, enterprising and dynamic, founded his own wines in 1842. He chose Mercurey, whose wines are already known for many years, as the cradle of its activity and acquires a promising vineyard and one of the most beautiful wineries in Mercurey. His descendants have at heart to expand the family domain, enriching, over generations, prestigious climates such as Musigny, Clos de Vougeot and other big names in Burgundy. In the early 60s, the house starts its brand wine, Roncier. This wine, which combines the expertise of several generations to provide a high quality wine, will make its reputation and will contribute to the company's rise to become one of the top 50 Burgundy. Today, still led by the family of its founder, the Tramier house continues to develop. Indeed, it acquired on Mercurey modern cellars which tripled its production capacity. The marketing of Roncier was successfully launched in the USA, Europe and Far East.
