The name Parcel 41 is derived from the original agriculture land assessor's plot number for our original ranch in Napa Valley, California which supplied the fruit for our inaugural vintage in 2005
In the ensuing years we have looked beyond our borders to source the most perfect fruit from small vineyard plots that, because of varying weather conditions, yield superior grapes in a given year. With this practice we are able to continue to offer you consummate varietals of the vintage at modest prices when compared to similar Napa Valley wines.

The fruit for this wine was sourced from the Miller Ranch, about a mile south of Yountville in Napa Valley. Silty, cool, and deep soils lie in a proverbial climatic sweet spot: cool in the mornings with Bay breezes and not too warm in the evenings.
