Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $13.80. There are 7 stores that sell this for $13.80 to $16.99. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.
Free shipping on orders of 4 bottles or more!
Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

"Falesco is the family winery of the Cotarella brothers, Renzo and Riccardo, both influential winemakers in their own right. This is their blend of sangiovese with merlot and cabernet, a red that's full and plump in the middle, earthy on either side. It holds some elegance in its tannins, which are tarry without feeling aggressive" (reviewed 4/2014) |
Description:
From the Winery
"Intense ruby color. Bright aromas of cherry, red berries violet and rose with a hint of spicy. In the palate, fresh and delightful tannic with long sensations of menthol and balsamic."
Curiosities: Assisi, the city which takes its name from this DOC, is located in the eastern part of Umbria and is best known for being the birthplace of St. Francis of Assisi. Destination of pilgrims every year, it was set in 2000 in the World Heritage List of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) for its significant contribution to the development of art and the promotion of peace in the world.
"I loved this cuvee from the iconic Umbrian producer Falesco, whose expertise making wines that showcase signature regional wines with flavors of blackberry, raspberry and cherry, enlivened by warm notes of rustic earthiness make this a dynamic choice for any table!" -Stephen C. Fahy, DWS
"Deep ruby in color, youthful aromas of red fruits and berries complement undertones of plums and cherries. On the palate, crisp acidity and smooth tannins make for an easy-to-drink, refreshing wine." - Importer
