91 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Produccions A Modino is owned by Spanish filmmaker Jose Luis Cuerda, and his 2010 San Clodio is a blend of indigenous varietals, including 70% Treixadura and the rest small amounts of Godello, Loureira, Torrontes and Albarino aged two months in stainless steel. Fresh lemon, citrus oil and white flower notes are reminiscent of a Loire Valley Chenin Blanc from France. Surprisingly rich, medium to full-bodied and intense with lots of texture and a dry, crisp, mineral-laced finish, it can be enjoyed over the next several years. This is a very impressive dry white."

"Sanclodio is owned by Award winning Spanish art film maker Jose Luís Cuerda – his films include Bosque Animado, La Lengua de Las Mariposas, Educacion de las Hadas. He has owned Sanclodio since just after his 1999 movie “La Lengua de las Mariposas” (“Butterfly’s Tongue”), won a Goya, the Spanish equivalent to an Oscar, for best adapted screenplay in 2000.
