"Inspired by the wine traditions of their Italian homeland, Guiseppe Quattrocchi and Elena Camilleri founded the Quattrochi winery in Argentina in the 1970s. Today the winery continues to be family-owned and is currently managed by Micaela Quattrocchi and her husband, Nino Franco, who, following their ancestorsâ commitment to excellent quality and constant modernization, have ensured that the winery adapts to the trends of world viticulture in order to earn a prominent place in national and international markets.
300 hectares of vineyards, framed by the imposing Andes Cordillera, extend west from the warm sands of the desert. The vineyards occupy a desert-like plateau 800 metres above sea level. The climate is characterized by cool winter months and high summer temperatures and an average rainfall of 200mm, most of which falls during the summer months. The land is virgin, permeable, and with a great amount of natural humus.
Among the sand dunes and in the heart of the farm lies the winery. With a 60,000 hectolitre capacity and state-of-the-art Italian technology it features epoxy-coated concrete tanks, stainless-steel tanks and noble oak barrels." - Importer
