The Vermentino Etichetta Nera is the wineryâs flagship wine and the recipient of many accolades including the coveted 3 Bicchieri Award by Gambero Rosso for 5 years in a row. The traditional characteristics of Vermentino are enhanced here by the cold maceration on the skins which translates into richer and more complex sensations on the nose and in the mouth. Aromas range from spring flowers to acacia blossom ... honey and golden apple. Crisp with a touch of saltyness on the finish. Due to its complexity this Vermetino is best enjoyed with food such as all types of seafood dishes but also poultry." - Importer

Cantine Lunae Bosoni was established in 1966 by Paolo Bosoni, who serves currently as both president and wine-maker. Family-owned and run, the company is based in Ortonovo, in the Easternmost corner of Liguria, bordering Tuscany. Production focuses on indigenous grape varieties from the Colli di Luni zone, especially Vermentino, and the reds Massareta, Pollera Nera and Sangiovese which are typical in this area due to the vicinity to Tuscany (only 2km from the winery).
The Vermentinos are distinguished by a selection of different vines and vinification. Vermentino Etichetta Nera, the companyâs flagship wine, has been awarded the Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso five years in a row. Total production reaches nearly 550,000 bottles on approximately 45 hectares of vineyards." - Importer
