Last year, we offered this wine out and it was a huge hit. The wine sold out and while we tried to buy more, we were told that there was not another bottle to be had. Then, in January, we met with several new suppliers and while flipping through one of the books, we noticed they had this same wine listed. Within minutes, a purchase order was cut and we secured everything they had in stock.
"Sanguine flavors of roasted plum and dried cherry feature a concentrated iron note, with plenty of smoke and spice accents. Mocha and dark chocolate overtones mark the broad, ripe-tasting finish. Pure and lively. Best from 2013 through 2022. 30,000 cases made. -KM" - 93 Points - Wine Spectator

The 2008 Collelceto Brunello nailed impressive reviews from Ian Dagata for its âEnticing aromas of sweet raspberry, licorice and herbsâ Additionally, the Wine Enthusiast loved this offering, saying the wineâs âBright fruit tones of cherry, pomegranate and red currant give this Brunello a pristine and youthful personality.â This wine is entering its prime drinking window right now and will age for 5-8 more years easily.
