The 2008 Nozzole La Forra Chianti Classico Riserva is Sangiovese and Merlot from the Tuscany region in Italy and the ABV is 14%. The 2011 Ronchi Di Cialla Cialla Bianco is Ribolla, Picolit, and Verduzzo from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy and the ABV is 13.5%.

The winemaking philosophy is very specific in the case of this wine: Ciallabianco shines the spotlight on three important indigenous grapes that best represent this tiny territory that straddles Italy and Slovenia. The wine opens with a bight golden color and shows oxidized aromas of caramel, butterscotch, candied fruit and dried apricot. Naturally, this opulent style wonât appeal to everyone. If youâre a fan of the 'Orange school,' youâll appreciate the depth and complexity on display. It should only improve with time.
