**Please note, this wine is a pre-sale, and is expected to arrive at the end of March!**

Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $92.97. There are 23 other stores that sell this from $92.97 to $159.99. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.

Free shipping on orders of 2 bottles or more!

More Ratings:

94 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2009, which is inky blue/purple to the rim, is a final blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot at 14% natural alcohol. The wine has a beautiful blueberry-scented nose with hints of acacia flowers, licorice, graphite and some subtle charcoal and background oak. Clearly a modern style of Margaux, it is pure, seamless, full-bodied and opulent, and the high glycerin and silky texture of 2009 are brilliantly displayed in this wine. Drink it over the next 15+ years, although it is certainly capable of lasting well past two decades." (02/12)

94 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com

"Aromas of black tea, blackberries, blueberries and coffee bean, follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a juicy finish. Lovely mouth feel. Very well done. Try in 2019." (02/12)

90-93 Pts Ian Dagata - Vinous Media

"Inky, glass-staining purple. Chocolatey torrefaction and herbs currently dominate black fruit aromas on the nose. Much more fruit-dominated in the mouth: pure, rich, almost decadently ripe blackberry and cassis flavors are plush and creamy, but possess excellent grip and precision. Very polished tannins give the luscious finish an ultrasmooth texture. Maybe a bit more New than Old World, but this version of Lascombes is much more reminiscent of classic Bordeaux than other recent vintages and appears to be the best vintage here in years." (06/10)

92 Pts Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media

"Bright red-ruby. Sexy aromas of coffee, nuts and charry oak. Supple, sweet and chocolately. Nicely concentrated, broad and round, showing a lush texture and a good chewy texture. Finishes with sweet tannins and a lingering element of smoky oak. Lovely claret." (07/12)

92 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"A wood- and fruit-driven wine, very modern in style. It has the ripest fruit along with dense tannins and concentration. The style is more international than Margaux, but the wine is certainly delicious. -RV" (02/12)

Description:

As many of you already know, the pricing on the First Growths in Bordeaux has increased dramatically over the last several years. Because of that, demand for the big Second Growth estates has been much higher as of late and now, we are thrilled to offer one of our favorite producers.

Chateau Lascombes has been on fire over the last 10+ years as the estate has turned out one fantastic release after another. The 2009 vintage is no exception to the rule.

We have a few cases of the 2009 Chateau Lascombes on the way to the shop now. As you can see from the tasting notes below, it is a vintage highly regarded by the critics and, dollar for dollar, represents one of the very best buys from Margaux!
