90 Pts Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate	"The 2010 Envejecido en Roble is aged in both French and American barrels for 8-10 months and spends one year in bottle before being sold. Sometimes these shorter times in barrel result in a less-than-perfect integration of wine and wood, and I must confess I am a little bit biased against this category of wines. Fortunately it is not the case here and the violet notes are perfectly integrated with the cinnamon and vanilla tones from the barrique. The palate is compact, light to medium-bodied, with great length and a spicy, velvety finish. This again represents good value for the category. Drink 2014-2019. " (08/13)

This incredible value from Spain is made up of 100% Mencia with notes of raspberry, black fruits and licorice, this medium bodied red can be enjoyed by itself or with food.

Wine:
"Village wine coming from vines between 40 and 60 years old. Aged in French oak for 8 to 12 months. Expresses the freshness and fruitiness of Mencia, an agile wine that seduces with its elegance." - Winery

"Wine of intense ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose we find a lot of red fruit (raspberry, strawberry ... On the palate fresh and very fine tannins that give elegance and personality to this wine." - Winery

Winery:
"The project was based on the restoration of an old dairy in the village of Dehesas in Ponferrada. The remodeling the building tried to combine the stone and slate of Bierzo area with wood, to be in line with traditional architecture in the area.

The project's objective was to give the winemaker all the necessary equipment to make wine in the most pure.

Each step of the process has been assigned a place with specific conditions of temperature, humidity and light...

Is the case in the barrel room, with not more than thousand oak barrels , manufactured by the most prestigious firms, mostly French oak. The quietness and darkness prevailing here, are interrupted only by our "bodeguero" (Carlos Garcia) or our winemaker and technical director of winery (RaÃºl PÃ©rez), who are responsible for monitoring the evolution of the wines and determining the optimal timing of balance which ends this step." - Winery
