You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

88 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Light orange. Pungent red berries and dried rose scents are lifted by subtle mineral and peppery spice notes. Juicy and broad on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering bitter cherry and redcurrant flavors and a touch of succulent herbs. The brisk, spicy finish shows good clarity and cling." Description:

TASTING NOTES:
"The typical bright, violet-shaded cherry colour and the visual perception of good density, are followed by the fresh and rich flavours of strawberry, pomegranate and cherry, enriched by elegant flowers, among which rose emerges. The volume is full and well balanced between the smoothness, also due to the alcohol content, and the lively acidity and minerality, creating a long mouth persistence and a stimulating final. The peculiar character makes the wine very pleasant and flexible in combination with several kinds of dishes, ranging from Italian antipasti to first courses, like pasta and pulse or grain-based soups, to main courses of white meat or elaborately prepared fish. Perfect with "Brodetto alla vastese"." - Winery

WINERY:
"The grapes, selected thanks to gradual harvesting into 20 kilos cases, are immediately brought to the winery, located in the old renovated farmhouse in the middle of the vineyard, where they are selected again on a sorting table, so that only the best are chosen. This process is applied to all grapes used for our wines, so that each category of wine can express the best potential according to the varieties cultivated in this traditionally apt area. In the winery, the most advanced technology is used to achieve a wine making that is traditional and respectful of the naturalness of the organic grapes. The strict selection in the vineyard and at the winery means that only perfectly healthy bunches are used for wine making and allows to obtain a quality wine with the smallest use of preservatives, complying with organic standards, which thus coincides exactly with the ethics of quality." - Winery

VINEYARDS:
"The typical Abruzzo curtain ("pergola abruzzese") is the usual training for the oldest vineyards, while the new ones are high density head or cordon-trained, according to the variety. Because the goal is finding a natural balance between plant and production for limited quantity yields, the agronomical management varies according to the training method, to the characteristics of the variety and of the individual plots of land. The harvest is performed thanks to gradual harvest handpicking sessions, selecting only the perfectly healthy and ripe bunches each time, and leaving the others on the plant to acquire a greater concentration before the next picking. The cultivation is certified organic according to European laws." - Winery
