Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

94 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"The wine blends Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet and Sangiovese in equal parts. Aromas of cedar, ripe black berries and plum almost jump from the glass. The juicy fruit carries over to the creamy palate together with black cherry, mint and mocha alongside soft, round tannins that give a velvety texture. -KO" (05/14)

90 Pts Wine Spectator

"Well-marked by new oak, this red offers cherry, black currant and tobacco notes, with spicy details. Dusty tannins hold court on the finish, which lingers with fruit and spice. Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet and Syrah. Drink now through 2022. 600 cases imported. -BS" (10/13)

Description:

WINE:
"The Merlot, Cabernet, Sangiovese and Syrah vines were planted in 1991 with the intention of producing the highest quality "Bordelaise" vines in Bolgheri. These international varietals combined with the native Sangiovese produces a wine that is well-structured, elegant, full and round. The grapes are harvested at full maturity. Immediately following the pressing, the wine is placed into wooden casks. The fermentation and maceration of each variety is handled separately with the cap manually pushed down daily for a period of 20 days. The wine is blended and then rests for a period of 12 months in barriques (1/3 in new oak). The wine is bottled without being filtered." - Importer

WINERY:
"In 1982 Michele started his own winery, one of the first in Bolgheri, with newly acquired vines from his previous employer. In this famous region of Tuscany, Michele rapidly earned respect and became known quickly as a vigneron. Michele even worked as a consultant for other properties in the early 1990s, including Ornellaia at which time Michele planted many of their vineyards. Michele has always been the local expert on the great terroir of Bolgheri and this is why his wines have been so well regarded in Italy." - Importer
