"Ripe, opulent, almost porty on the nose! Maybe a bit too much and certainly not expressive of the vintage but great lengths have been gone to produce a wine that tastes like 2005 rather than 2007! "This wine presents a beautiful red/purple color. The nose is complex, combining notes of red fruits with aromatic freshness. On the mouthfeel, the wine is meaty and silky, leaving room for a long and fruity finish." -Winery; translated by KM

"Situated in the heart of Libourne, the fate of Chateau Quinault L'Enclos is to be the winery of the town, whose origins started during the Roman era. The property consists of 20 hectares, close to the Dordogne River, that benefits from a fantastic microclimate for growing vines. The plantings are classic and typical for the Right Bank of the Garonne: Merlot dominates (83%), then Cabernet Franc (12%), and finally Cabernet Sauvignon (5%).
