Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

96 Pts Wine & Spirits
"The scent of this wine is worth the price of admission, a combination of sage, sun and wet rock, of forest pines and dark red fruit. It reminded Wolfgang Weber, one of our panelists, of hiking in the north coast, 'in the morning, when the sun burns off the dew and picks up the scents of plant resins.' The fragrance may ground the wine in the Napa Valley hills, but the texture is pure benchland, about as silky as a wine can be. The Hendry family farms these blocks of clone 2 zinfandel at the edge of the hills west of the city of Napa, one block planted in 1975, the other in 1995. Those vines hit in 2011 with a deliciously plump zinfandel, the kind of dynamic red wine that proves Napa Valley's greatness. (1,620 cases)" (02/14)
"Pretty initial aromas of soft cocoa, cassis, spice and violet. Mouthwatering, balanced sour cherry, berry and currant and persistent acid, balanced by mild, fine-grained tannins. With slightly higher acid and lower tannins than Block 28, 7&22 is a natural partner for Italian plates like pasta Bolognese or goat cheese and eggplant lasagna, as well as anything barbecued or grilled."
"Hendry blocks 7 and 22 are located on benchlands west of the town of Napa. The nine acres are between 230 and 300 feet above sea level and have thin, stony Boomer series soils. The maritime climate is moderated by morning fog and strong afternoon breezes from San Pablo Bay. Block 7 was planted in 1975 to clone 2 Zinfandel. Block 22 was planted in 1995, also to clone 2. The vines are spaced 8' x 10', cordon trained and spur pruned. A three-wire trellis system supports the cordon and the canopy. Average production is only 3 tons per acre. In 2011, Block 7 was harvested on September 30 and Block 22 on October 1." -Winery
"The alcoholic fermentation was completed in approximately ten days in closed stainless steel fermentation tanks. The wine was then pressed and put into barrels for malolactic fermentation. Aging for the 7& 22 is fifteen months in French oak barrels, approximately one-third of which are new." -Winery
"The Hendry family has been farming the same vineyard in Napa since 1939. The lessons learned in more than 70 harvests provide us with a level of knowledge and a connection to the land that is rare in Napa. The Hendry Ranch is composed of 114 acres of vineyard situated in the hills north west of Napa. This latitude in the valley experiences substantial marine influence, and allows us to grow 10 different varietals, each carefully distributed among our 47 vineyard blocks. All Hendry wines are made from estate grapes, and 2011 will be the 20th vintage of the Hendry label. Through the subtle use of oak, and restraint in ripeness, our wines are crafted to highlight the terroir of the vineyard." -Winery
