Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Tastings.com (Beverage Testing Institute)

"Deep violet color. Rich aromas of malted chocolate, toasted cranberry bread, white clay, and dried-tomato with a silky, fruity-yet-dry medium body and a pleasant vanilla cream and spiced apple accented finish with fine tannins. A lovely balance and flavor." (05/13)

91 Pts Wine & Spirits

"Based on malbec, this blend includes cabernet sauvignon (14 percent) and petit verdot (12 percent). It glides across the palate with the smooth tannins typical of malbec, and the flavor of chocolate-dipped cherries." (06/14)

90 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"Aromas of wild berry and animal hide unfold on the nose. In the mouth, this blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot is heady and offers tons of berry and cassis fruit. The finish is rich and borderline syrupy, with thickness and depth but not a lot of complexity. -M.S." (04/14)

Description:

WINE:
"This Blend is produced in a limited quantity. Its result is a huge effort and this Gran Reserve wine is a delicious red blend of the best wines produced in the vintage. 74 % Malbec from La Consulta, San Carlos, 14 % Cabernet Sauvignon Lunlunta, Maipu, 12 % Petit Verdot Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo."

"Dark purple with blue highlights. Presents hints of plums and figs, cherry and lilac flowers. The attack is fruity, very palatable, repeating red fruit together with meaty flavors and a touch of pepper and dark chocolate. Smooth final with balanced acidity." -Winery

WINERY:
"Despite a prolific life, Mrs. Elvira Calle decided in early 2001, to create a winery with two partners, Richard Battagion and Kirk Ermisch. Mrs. Elvira explained why she had this initiative: 'After the death of my father when I was very young, my mother was remarried to an exceptional man who became my second father. He had vineyards and I enjoyed it a lot when I was allowed to pay the field workers. Since that moment I always loved the wine industry, because it is the job of many people in my province. Even though life has filled me with satisfaction in everything I have undertaken, I was yearning in my heart, with the passage of time, the dream of creating a winery'." -Winery
